Album yang memiliki konsep unik ini diluncurkan Pada 10 Desember 2021 secara digital di aplikasi penyedia musik terkemuka. Keunikan Trust Issues Pt. 1 ada pada semesta yang diciptakan oleh Jacqueline Caroline lewat 8 lagu yang terdapat di dalamnya yang menceritakan perjalanan karakter utama dalam belajar memahami arti cinta. Lagu pemungkas dari album Trust Issues Pt. 1 ini adalah It Wasn’t Love yang bernuansa balada Pop dengan arsiran gitar yang memberikan atmosfer Rock dan Blues. It Wasn’t Love berkisah tentang pertempuran batin seseorang yang terjerat dalam hubungan yang toksik, dimana akal sehat kerap dimanipulasi oleh perasaan. Cerita dari lagu ini terinspirasi dari kisah nyata pengikutnya di akun sosial media yang kemudian diracik oleh Nutyas Surya Gumilang (NSG), Jonah Sithole dan Jacqueline Caroline sendiri. “For me, love is mathematics. I could never understand it. It’s too complex for me but it’s fun to create certain love story or a character or a plot that made me realize that the concept of love is so much more that only an attention and giving-taking that kinda stuff. I’m still learning about love though. That’s why this album became one of my trials that I’ll always thankful for and I hope you feel certain feeling too when you hear it. The process of making this wasn’t easy. I struggle a lot, not gonna lie. This is just the beginning and (maybe) a glimpse of my universe that I’ve created long-long time ago inside my mind. Jacqueline Caroline adalah seorang penyanyi berdarah Papua dan Jawa yang merupakan Grand Finalist kompetisi Rising Star Indonesia musim ketiga pada tahun 2019. Bakat alami yang dimiliki di bidang tarik suara dan seni musik serta penampilannya yang unik, membuat Jacqueline Caroline menjadi sosok musisi yang menjanjikan. Bersama dengan NSG Music Recordings dan Star Media Nusantara, gadis yang lahir dan dibesarkan di kota Batam ini siap mewarnai dan mengarungi skena musik Indonesia dengan suaranya yang khas dan talentanya yang luar biasa.
