ABOUT BLOODLYNE
Bloodlyne, is a Southern African Pop, RnB Soul, Hiphop singer-songwriter and producer. Bloodlyne’s first taste of a real audience was when he was 16 years of age performing at a youth revival concert. While receiving immense love and feedback from the audience, he was mesmerized by their screams and cheers. He knew from that day it was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. It led him to dive into the world of music deeper than he had before. He began to study his idols such as Michael Jackson, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Brenda fassie, Oliver Mutukudzi and Donnel Jones (to name a few) by imitating and meditating on their sound and what made them tick. What was once road trip music for him became a passion and obsession. As he grew older and went through the struggles of life like any other human being, his lyrics and sound grew with him too. From songs about girls and young love, it evolved into mature content of relationships, sex, drugs and what’s going on around the world. His sultry vocal tone and energy also evolved as a result of being exposed to multiple genres and styles of music that he experienced in South East Asia, Africa and western music alike.
